Double French Braid Bun Instructions:

  • Step 1 / Brush through your hair and divide it where you normally would. I have mine in a diagonal, starting from the left side, back to the right side.
  • Step 2 / Now continue the part along the back of the head so that both halves have the same thickness. I also did this in a diagonal from the right side of the crown down to the left side of my neck.
  • Step 3 / Bind the right side to work with the left side.
  • Step 4 / Take a small piece of hair near the forehead and divide it into three parts.
  • Step 5 / Create a French braid by crossing the side strands over the middle strand.
  • Step 6 / Start putting hair in the braid and running down to the neck.
  • Step 7 / Once all the hair is in place, braid the ends and tie them with an elastic band.
  • Step 8 / Release the hair on the right side and repeat the previous steps to create a French braid.
  • Step 9 / Take the hanging braid on the left side and wind it in a spiral counterclockwise to create a small knot in the neck.
  • Step 10 / Secure the edges of the bun with several hairpins and slide them into the center of the bun.
