Braid 9-Mermaid Style Fishtail French Braid is the newest fishtail French Braid for the summer!
I love this style so much, very much and think that he would also look in the back of my head. a pending tutorial if you want (as soon as I get my hands to cooperate that is).
I love Mermaid Style braids and wanted to put that idea in the fishtail French plait, which is a braid that I’ve worn non-stop around here.
Follow these steps to get your own version or jump down to the video tutorial:
Step 1 / Start with a deep side part.
Step 2 / Take a section at the top and divide it in half.
Step 3 / Separate a strand of hair from one side and cross it by placing it on the opposite side.
Step 4 / Now take a section from the other side and add it to the other side.
Step 5 / Repeat steps 3 and 4 5-6 more times.
Step 6 / Traverse a section, add a section from the outside, add it and create a French braid style.
Step 7 / Then cross a section from the bottom strand and also add a strand from the outside.
Step 8 / Make 4 or 5 normal fishtail stitches.
Step 9 / Now take a strand of hair from the outside and cross it on the other side.
Step 10 / Then take an outer section, cross it and attach it to the opposite side.
Step 11 / Then make 3 or 4 regular sections of a fishtail.
Step 12 / Bring one section from the back and wrap it over and add it to the opposite side.
Step 13 / Do the same on the other side.
Step 14 / Repeat the regular fishtail sections again.
Step 15 / Repeat steps 12-15 until all hair is pulled in.
Step 16 / Braid the rest of your hair to a normal fishtail braid.
Step 17 / Tie the bottom with a transparent rubber band.
