Twisted Updo for Wet Hair is something I threw together when I ran out of the door one day.
This summer, I decided to take a promise of hot tools. I officially started June 1st and will not use any hair dryers, curling irons or irons for three full months until September 1st.
I am determined to get my hair as healthy as possible, which means I will not dye it during this time. I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit scared of being halfway like a ragamuffin. I know this is the perfect opportunity to come up with new hairstyles that do not need heat, like this one, for example! I take it day by day, so you wish me luck; healthy hair, here I come!
Follow these steps to get this style:
Step 1 / Start with a hair part from the left ear to the part. Turn the hair up and bring it over the back of the head.
Step 2 / Wrap the twist so that it creates a small half roll and stick it with hairpins.
Step 3 / Take the leftover hair out of the bun and add a portion of hair, from the top of the head, to create a new twist.
Step 4 / Wrap the twist again to create another small half-wrapped bun, right next to the first, which is secured with hairpins.
Step 5 / Take the rest of the hair out of the bun and add more hair, from the top over the right ear back to the bun, turn up as above.
Step 6 / Create another half roll directly under the first two and pin it down.
Step 7 / Make one final turn with the rest of your hair.
Step 8 / Wrap the hair in a bun and secure it with hairpins.
Voila! A perfect hairstyle for days on the run or if you just do not want to pull out the hair dryer.
